Banana Cutlet/Nenthra pazham cutlet

Ripe banana Cutlet..got this recipe from Lakshmi nair's magic oven...my friend Aswathy Nishanth send me d you tube link..Thanks lot my dear <3




Ingredients
  • 2 medium nenthra pazham/yetha pazham
  • 1/2cup grated coconut
  • 2 pinches cardamom powder
  • 1 tespn (optional) Sugar
  • 1tbspn(optional) nuts & kismis
  • 1/4cup bread crumbs
  • 1tbpn milk
  • 2-3tbspn Ghee/Butter


Cooking Directions
  1. Cook bananas in a steamer
  2. peel off the skin and mash it well
  3. heat a non stick pan n add little ghee
  4. saute nuts& kismis n keep it aside
  5. In the remaining ghee,roast grated coconut,no need to change its color,
  6. Then remove frm flame and mix it with cardamom ,sugar,fried nuts & kismis
  7. add these roasted mixture to cooked banana & mix well
  8. Roll in to medium sized balls and flatten it lyk cutlet
  9. Dip cutlets in milk n roll it in bread crumbs
  10. Heat ghee/butter and shallow fry both sides till light brown color
Note:-
U can skip Coconut roasting process...directly add fresh coconut to mashed banana
